SOCS

The event we worked at was the Sexuality and Relationship talk to Catholic schools throughout Sydney at the State Sports Centre in Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush. Our role was to usher people to their seats when they first arrived at the venue, and controlling the crowds as they filed in and out of the venue for recess, lunch and when the workshop concluded. We learnt how to effectively and appropriately deal with people who do not comply with what they are being asked to do and how to maintain a calm attitude and temper when being told what to do by people who have no authority over you or your job.
